Addicting: BridgeCraft

Monday June 29th, 2009 in Sweet Links | No comments »

bridgecraftSo I’m not sure if you ever played Bridge It for the PC, but this flash game reminded me greatly of it. The idea of the game is to create bridges that dont suck so that you’re critters can cross from one side of the screen to the other. Its a cute addictive game with a lot of engineering lessons embeded into it. Give it a try…

Review: Away We Go

Saturday June 27th, 2009 in Facebook, TV/Cinema/Music | 1 Comment »

Away We Go is about a couple that decide they are free to pick up their lives and move anywhere they want to, now that a baby is on the way. They travel to different places from their past in order to locate the perfect place to grow up… I enjoyed the idea. The movie was an exploration into what different people concider a home, in an attempt to locate the main character’s new home. Hit the jump for my full review of the movie.

Review: The Proposal

Wednesday June 24th, 2009 in Facebook, TV/Cinema/Music | 1 Comment »

Question: How do you feel about people talking in the theatre during a fun movie? Does it bother you? WELL THEM I’M SORRY! (not really) I had to talk all the way through this movie. This movie was a fun light movie with a comfortable mix of serious undertones. My full review after the break…

Review: The Hangover

Friday June 19th, 2009 in Facebook, TV/Cinema/Music | No comments »

If you know me, and you know my distaste for the way comedies seem be headed as of late… You’ll understand my poor review for The Hangover. I’ve tried writing a few things about this movie, but this movie was so un-intelligent that I can’t seem to write an intelligent review for it! After walking out of the theatre I actually felt dumber. Hit the jump for my attempt at a full review…

Best way to waste a morning: Learn to Fly

Thursday June 18th, 2009 in Sweet Links | No comments »

A friend linked me a game and it all went down hill from there… oh so pun-ny! The object of the game is to make your little penguin get as far from the ramp as possible before touching the water. For each jump you do, you’ll earn money which you can then spend to buy aids that will help you get farther. There are levels with different degrees off the ramp and acheivements for each level. It takes the basics of many flash games from the past, and adds an RPG element to the game. Even more enjoyable than i would have thought… Give it a try!
