Review: The Hangover

If you know me, and you know my distaste for the way comedies seem be headed as of late… You’ll understand my poor review for The Hangover. I’ve tried writing a few things about this movie, but this movie was so un-intelligent that I can’t seem to write an intelligent review for it! The idea of the movie is that 4 guys go to Las Vegas for a bachelor party but don’t remember the night. The movie doesn’t actually show the night but instead takes the viewer through the same process of trying to figure out what happened the night before. The problem that I found seemed to be relating to any of the situations that the guys were in… I can’t say that I’ve ever woken up from a hangover the night before and not been able to remember ANYTHING. There was this one party I don’t know how I got home from, but that’s another story…

Now I know you’re wondering if there was anything about this movie that I liked. I did laugh a few times because there are scenes that I could understand, however most of them I didn’t find funny. Just silly, or dumb. I like that everything works out in the end though(oh whoops spoiler… ). Overall I give this movie a 4 / 10.
