Review: The Proposal

Question: How do you feel about people talking in the theatre during a fun movie? Does it bother you? WELL THEM I’M SORRY! (not really) I had to talk all the way through this movie. This movie was a fun light movie with a comfortable mix of serious undertones. My full review after the break…

I walked out of the theatre with a smile on my face and ideas swirling in my head. I couldn’t wait to talk to the people I saw the movie with, that I wasn’t whispering to all the way through. This was a fun enjoyable movie, that didn’t use toilet humour or slapstick comedy, in order to make the audience laugh. This was a genuinely funny and enjoyable flick. I think I may have even slapped my knee at one point. :o

Ryan Reynolds played his part fantastically and really I must comment on his facial expressions… What a great actor. Sandra Bullock also does a great job, and to my surprise they had great on-screen chemistry. Although the introduction to the plot was a bit weak, my enjoyment of the follow-through made up for any faults it may have had early on. I give this movie a 7 / 10.

This movie needed to be redone, and rated R.. then the real good scenes would come out.

This was a pussification for profits from the young people.
