Party Favour Idea: Jell-o Lime Shots

Today seems to be all about food… here’s another great party favour idea. Cut a lime directly in half, remove the flesh, fill with Jell-o, let set, cut into quarters or sixths, and serve. Great presentation idea!

Roasting pumpkin seeds are a great way to satisfy most snackers and you recently hollowed out a pumpkin recently anyway, didn’t you?! why not use the fruit of your labours to make something delicious. The steps are quick and easy and you’ll find that if you haven’t roasted them before, you will again in the future. My girlfriend and I actually roast all squash seeds when we are done with the flesh. This includes spaghetti squash as well as the popular pumpkin.

Recipe: Stuffed Tex-Peppers

So for Canada Day, I decided to make Stuffed Bell Peppers based on a recipe a co-worker had given me a while back, then mixed it up with some past experience and came up with the following recipe. They turned out great, much better than any other’s I’ve tried. I added a bit of a kick and some rice, and it really made these peppers stand out from the other stuffed pepper recipes I’ve made.
