Now I know we’ve all been there, we see a hot fan of ours and take a second glance. That’s exactly the sort of thing you don’t want to do when you’re rally racing though! I guess he hasn’t seen many girl’s give him the ‘O’ Face, eh? eh?! *nudge* Get it? It’s an Office Space joke… like when that– forget it. I’ll tell you when you’re older.
So I dont know if you noticed but the internets have been kinda lame lately… I have resorted to only posting the most awesome of stuff that I know you’ll enjoy too; Like this guy! He sits on chat roulette and sings songs about what he sees on the other end of the webcam. So for those of you who dont know what Chat Roulette is, think AIM… with a webcam, and not 1993. Honestly, I watched this whole video with a smile on my face. Thanks to Tom for the link.
Is your cat always up on the counter? Here’s an idea to training them to stay the eph off the food making places! I actually spit out the tea in my mouth all over my monitor. Thanks a lot tom… Now I’ll be cleaning tea off of my computer screens for a week.
Hey everyone, hope you all had as much fun with the Olympics as I did (Canada won by the way, what what!?). I guess it’s time to get back into the swing of things now that they are done though. The first link I will feature for our return is a great new music video by OK Go entitled This Too Shall Pass, which it most certainly does! (btw, I’m sure I’ve miss-spelled Rup Goldberg but that’s just fine for a first post since break!)
Thanks to Tom for keeping up with us, even on our Olympic hiatus and sending this awesome video in.
This year has proven to be quite a drag on Superbowl ads in my professional opinion! The Superbowl ads consisted of a sexually driven ad (courtesy of GoDaddy) the normal barrage of movie trailers (Robin Hood, Prince of Persia and Wolfman included) and about a dozen commercials for TV shows on CBS. BORING! I must say the biggest disappointment was the sheer lack of funny ads. There were a few funny ads but overall I think the Lame-to-Awesome-ratio was too high for what I’m used to, being me and all. EA is releasing a game later this quarter called Dante’s Inferno which is getting a lot of sub-advertising it seems… Wonder if it’s going to be any good. EA has set up multiple websites and hidden tricks and hints all over the interwebs regarding their next big game. Recently digg.com had a little hidden trick up its sleve in its source code. Screenshot above of the ASCII Art that was embeded into the source. I did some digging (no pun intended) and found the site it pointed to required 5 additional passwords to the one that is with the image above, but I located them! I dont think I could say it any better than the orignal artist:
A bit of background for the non-gamers: in the late 1990s, there was a series of multiplayer games called Worms (Worms 2, Worms Armageddon, etc etc). Each player controlled a team of cute worms and took turns to try to annihilate each other by arming their own worms with a selection of outlandish and hilarious weapons. Crazy cartoon carnage ensued. Worms has recently made a comeback with new releases for consoles and iPhone, but 1999’s Worms Armageddon on PC is still a great game too.
Amazing work planetjune! Hit the jump for one more picture and a link to the flickr gallery.
