Burj Dubai’s Opening Fireworks.

Thursday January 7th, 2010 in Sweet Links | 2 Comments »

Meh… it’s alight I suppose. I’ve had bigger better light shows in my back yard for the neighbours with a flashlight and some yarn though. Sorry, You’ll have to settle with what the second-tallest freestanding object looks like with fireworks strapped to the side of it, because I’m certainly not strapping fireworks onto my schlong!

GodMode in Vista and Windows 7? *grin*

Wednesday January 6th, 2010 in Sweet Links | No comments »

Well how interesting is this!? Apparently all it takes is the renaming of any folder on your computer to a neat little string and you’ve got yourself GodMode. It has nearly every option you could ever need in one folder once completed. No comment from Microsoft directly yet about the ‘feature’ but it’s still pretty neat.

To enter “GodMode,” one need only create a new folder and then rename the folder to the following:

GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

As a side note, this does work in Vista, but it’s only suggested to use the trick on 32 bit versions of the OS as it can cause some unstability otherwise.

Elephant in the way of success.

This one time on a math test I scratched out the question and wrote in “what is pi to 100 digits?”… then wrote out pi to a hundred digits. My teacher gave me a bonus mark for the effort but the question was worth 5 points, so I lost out in the end. Hit the jump to see what this teacher did when a kid gave an excuse for not being able to complete the question due to an elephant in his way!

At first glance, you’d think, hell yes you should stop beating her! What kind of prick are you?! Then you read his story. Sorry man, I think you need to readjust your title…and then let her win.
