Most times when you hear about a movie that is ‘based on a true story’ you think sadness or some sort of heart ache. This movie was not the case at all… Maybe that’s because it was based on two true stories and not just one. This romantic comedy has to be one of the best in its genre’s that I have seen in a long while. Without giving it all away before the break, I felt it had the perfect mix of crude and wit. While still keeping true to the classic recipe for a romantic comedy, this movie also added a new element of unpredictability to it. I was left only guessing what Gerard Butler’s character was going to say next, as truly anything was made fair game! Full review after the break…

Ahhh, good ol’ Michael Bay… Enough action and explosions to drown any normal person. Maybe all the negative reviews and lack of personal build up contributed, but I was pleasantly surprised with this movie. Even with all the inconsistencies and plot changes (not only from the original series, but from the first movie too), I still found myself enjoying it. My full review will be up after the break…

Away We Go is about a couple that decide they are free to pick up their lives and move anywhere they want to, now that a baby is on the way. They travel to different places from their past in order to locate the perfect place to grow up… I enjoyed the idea. The movie was an exploration into what different people concider a home, in an attempt to locate the main character’s new home. Hit the jump for my full review of the movie.

With a running time of about an hour and a half, pixar again proves that quality is much better than quantity. The movie was shorter than most movies now a days but was much better than a lot of the animated crap out there. If you know me and my dislike for animated movies, then you’ll understand just how exceptional this movie is, because of the rating im giving this movie.
