In a truly shocking moronic turn of events, the company that is responsible for creating the organically powered robot has issued a statement to the public:

“We completely understand the publics concern about futuristic robots feeding on the human population, but that is not our mission,” said Harry Schoell, CEO of Cyclone Power Technologies.

Oh whew… now I’m convinced. Wait, no I am not! Just because you tell me it’s not your mission, doesn’t mean that it can’t happen. Might I remind you of the Manhattan project or the invention of Penicillin? Neither really had it in their mission to develop what they did… well, maybe the Manhattan project did, but shhh. Point is: unless you make it your mission to program the robots with Asimov’s Laws of robotics, then it’ll turn on us! I see no evidence that you are! *glare*
